She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecile Carpenter Vorys and John Werner Vorys. She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Phillips; her children, Christopher Phillips (Heather) and Melissa Phillips; her grandsons, Brodie and Finn Phillips; and her siblings, Margo Vorys McCool, Jeanny Vorys Simaitis and John C. Vorys.
