It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Koons (Shoreline, Washington), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Heming Jensen (Ballard); his parents, Frank L. Koons and Sylvia Ernstrom; his stepmother Dorothy Koons; and his brother Gene Koons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Rainey (Chris), Tiffany Anderson (Tal), Melanie Johnson (Jeff) and Natalie Viveiros (Alex); his brother Jim Koons (Julie); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Koons. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
