He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Shawn Schmitz (Craig), Mark (Cynthia) and Paul; his grandchildren, Ashley (David), Natalie, Kylee and Jaycob (Rina); and his great grandchildren, Aaralyn, Nova and Juniper.
