It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meladia Della Smith (Sedro Woolley, Washington), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denton Self and Cumi Self (Hagans); and her daughter Charlene Ovenell. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her stepdaughter Tammy Brendicke of Toledo, WA; her wife Von Self of Sedro-Woolley; her son-in-law Jim Ovenell of Burlington; her stepgranddaughters, Christina and Jennifer; and also Irma Self of Sedro-Woolley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
