He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Miller and Josie Ella Peterson Miller; his brothers, Arnell and Harold (JoAnn); and his son Dale.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Diane; and his children, Ross of Guam and Diane (Kolb) of Richland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
