He is survived by: his wife Karen Copland of Bellingham, WA; his children, Michael Hemmett (Sarah Hemmett) and Karen Hemmett (Copland) of Poulsbo; his sister Karen; his brother-in-law Jeff Stirrett; his nephews, Zack and Ben Stirrett of Shelbyville, IL; his parents, Beecher Hemmett (Mike) of Charleston, IL and Patricia Hemmett of Mattoon, IL; and his friend Jama Plotts of Bremerton, WA. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
