She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Gerding and Margaret Gerding; her husband Jim; her children, Sheila Ottersen (Tim) and Richard Dowling (Laurell); her grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan), Jonathan (Ruth), Eric (Chandra), Christopher and Kathleen; her great grandchild Declan; and her son Robert Scott Dowling.
