He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Randy Tribbett and Debra Tribbett of Tacoma; his sons, Austin Tyler Ray and Dylan Joshua Ray; his wife Jennifer; his son Cody; his former wife Candy; his close friend Cody; his grandparents, Sybina Cheek, Leonard and Lily Tribbett; and his aunt Cheryl Keefer. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neices, nephews and friends.

On October 1, 2021, he took his final breath surrounded by loved ones after a valiant battle with COVID-19.
