He was predeceased by: his father Jack Sutherland; his father-in-law Ben Hoekstra; and his brother-in-law Brad Hoekstra. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Sutherland; his wife Jennifer Hoekstra; his children, Kelsey Nyman (Jeremiah), Katelyn Zachmeyer (Chris) and Kevin; his grandchildren, Harrison, Kenna Zachmeyer, Sean and Valerie Nyman; his siblings, Sindi Moe (Dave), Kay Lopez (Marty) and Darrin Sutherland; and his mother-in-law Lillian Hoekstra. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
