He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell T. Gilbert and Sharon Gay Jessop; and his son Trevor Gilbert. He is survived by: his son Michael Gilbert; his sisters, Deborah Baumgardner, Laurie Gilbert and Sandra Halford; and his stepmother Joanie Gilbert (Ken Frye). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
