It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gudrun Hanstad (Mount Vernon, Washington), born in Conway, Washington, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sivert Torseth and Marit Torseth; her children, Cathy Best (Rick), Nancy Flajole (Terry), Judy Robinson (Don), Sharon Anderson (Larry), Becky Vetvick (Doug), Marilee Erickson (Bob), Tim Hanstad (Chitra), John Hanstad (Denise) and Cindy Cummings (Ted); her siblings, Melvin, Stanley Torseth and Louise Bottles; her husband Milton Hanstad; and her brothers, Owen and Arnold Torseth. She was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Bethany Covenant Church, Hospice of the Northwest, that provided care in her last weeks, or New Earth Recovery and Children of the Valley, two organizations that Mom supported.
