Mary Kaye Sauter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kaye Sauter of Marysville, Washington, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Hertz and Katherine Hertz; her husbands, Joseph Shields and Clarence Sauter; her sister Betty Lindquist; and her children, Teresa Marie (Marek), Jim and Chris.

She is survived by: her children, David (Amy), Edward (Betsy), Thomas (Avriel), Mark (Joan) and Steve (Tami); and her brother-in-law John Lindquist. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed singing with the Stilly Singers until the pandemic made that impossible.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Marysville Food Bank or St. Vincent de Paul of Marysville.
