She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Roorda and Anna Roorda (Tjoelker); her grandson Joel DeVries; her siblings, Shirley Trueblood and Ted Roorda; and her son-in-law George Atsma.
She is survived by: her sister Betty; her husband Scott DeVries; and her children, Richard DeVries (Pam), Elaine DeVries, Donna Atsma (George), Marlys Lambert (Doug) and Rachael Berdan (Seth). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
