He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Winiger and Mary Winiger; his brother Joe Winiger; and his stepson Steve Winiger (Mabel Fugitt). He is survived by: his former wife Verna Vermilye; his wife Mabel Fugitt; his children, Penny Massey (Alan), Chris Winiger (Kris) and Daniel Winiger (Susan); and his grandchildren, Bryon Massey, Kim Lopez, Lacey Winiger and Joseph A. Winiger. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren.
