He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Jacobs and Dorothy Jacobs; his brothers, Leo and Ralph Jacobs; and his nephew Daniel Jacobs.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jacobs of Ocean Park, Washington; his siblings, Ray Jacobs of St. Helens, Oregon and Kathy Anderson of Bemidji; and his children, Douglas Jacobs, Don Jacobs (Angie), Jay Urie (Gail), Darla Mentzer (Rick) and Kathy Loundree (David Fulmer). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
