He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Cleave and Glenna Van Cleave; and his brother Dean P. Haugen of Redmond. He is survived by: his stepfather Emery "Cope" Haugen; his wife Carol Joy; his children, Laurie Tallman, Chris and Kyle; his granddaughters, Marci, Katie, Emily (Laurie) and Sara Beth (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Nora and Esmé (Marci).
