He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Jean; his siblings, Gloria Ann Sandford and Phillip Sandford Sr.; and his aunt Adele Saloom.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Susan Sandford; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Gonzalez, Diane Bryan, Phillip Sandford Jr. and Michael Sandford. He is also survived by his many grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandniece and great-grandnephews.
