We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Laura J. Smith of Lacey, Washington, born in Peoria, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar M. Smith and Eunice Smith (Winship); and her brother Bradley Smith. She is survived by: her sister Sharon Menold (Michael) of Princeville, Illinois; her nephews, Ryan (Shari) and Derek (Wendy); and her niece Kara Martin (Brad).
Because of Covid, travel distances, and Laura's wishes, there will be no in-person service or life celebration.
But in lieu of flowers, if you want to contribute something in her name or memory, here are some ideas: The American Heart Association is a good choice.
