He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tahran and Vivian Tahran. He is survived by: his close friend Bobbie Schwein; his children, Duane John Tahran, Jr. (Cheryl) of Olympia, WA., Blake Richard Tahran of Jacksonville and Denette Roxanne Tahran of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Myron Tahran of Morton, WA., Linda Royal of Olympia, WA., Gloria Johnstone (John) of Chehalis, WA. and LaVone Swanson (Terry) of Olympia, WA.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made in Duane's name for crohn's research.
