She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Thrift and Pauline Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Charles A. Simpson; and her children, Phillip, Jerry, Dwight, Norris, Linda, Lynn and Allen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
