He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Thomas and Anna Thomas; and his brother Ernest. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Bushey; his children, Gregory Thomas (Anita) and Lynn VanBuskirk (Ben); his grandchildren, Jennifer Harralston, Nick VanBuskirk, Jeremy VanBuskirk (Kayla) and Kelly Burgess (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Brenner, Kylia, Tessa and Jase.
