It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regina Sue Smith of Kirkland, Washington, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Darlene Thompson and Pete; and her sisters, Brenda Lawler and Candi Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Doug Smith; her children, Shawn Smith and Tamara Smith (Randy Compton); her brothers, David Shortridge (Terri) and Rick Shortridge (Barb); and her cousin Susie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Despite an ocean between them, plus the global pandemic, she thrived in this role, creating loving, secure and meaningful relationships with them.
Modest flowers are appreciated; blood bank donations will be requested at a future date in Susie's honor.
