He was predeceased by: his parent Seattle; his wife Evelyn F. Hansen of Lincoln, NE; and his grandson Joshua. He is survived by: his daughter Christina Al-Marzouqi (Yehya); his grandchildren, Jassim and Omar; his great grandchild David Chinick (Andres Diaz); his daughter Katie Bevan; his grandchildren, Ricki and Airon; his daughter Dana Wick (Dan); his grandchildren, Brittany, Danny, Elizabeth and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Jayson, Ryder and Nolan.
Ed's favorite charities were Doctors Without Borders, NAMI, and the Medic One Foundation.
