He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, John Polonis (Kristina) and Sheila Johnson (Michael); his grandchildren, Lucy Johnson, Sebastian Polonis and Mark Johnson; his father Douglas Hugh Polonis Sr.; his siblings, Christine Mayner (Randy), Steven Polonis (Vilma) and Malcolm Polonis; and his sister-in-law Marion Kenny (Jim Jackson).
