She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Butler and Isabelle Butler (Jackson); her significant other John McLain; her sister Mary; and her brother-in-law Alan.
She is survived by: her children, Peter, Betsie and Sue; her son-in-law Bill; her sister Janet; and her brother-in-law Donn. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
