He is survived by: his children, Michael John and Kimberley Ann; his brother-in-law Don Durr; his wife Sharron Rath of Kennewick, WA; his children, Michael Rath (Shelly) of Sherwood, OR and Kim Rath Moore (Wayne) of Kennewick, WA; his grandchildren, McKayla Rath Higgins (Michael) of Wilsonville, OR, Brandon Rath of Sherwood, OR, Brett Rath of Clifford, ND and Bronson Moore of Tempe, AZ; his great grandchild Sharron Joy Higgins; his siblings, Kathy Durr (Don), Thomas Rath (April) and Rick Rath (Julie); his mother-in-law Lorena Ray; and his sister-in-law Pat Ray.
Family suggests memorials be made in John's name to Chaplaincy Hospice Care of Richland or Hood River Valley Christian Church and sent care of Anderson's Tribute Center.
