He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Henry Kauer and Mae Irene Robins Kauer; his siblings, Freddie Kauer and Mary Bates Kauer; his wife Evelyn Ruth Haylor Kauer; and his children, Theresa (Richard) and Edward (Lois). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
