He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith, Sr. of Washington and Sallie Mitchell Smith; his wife Jacqueline Yeatts Smith; and his siblings, Beatrice S. Williams, Della S. Arthur, Edith S. Wells, Lorrine S. Norman, Yvonne S. Tickle, Alfred, Joseph, Ray, Harold Smith and Chester Scearce.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Smith (Sandi), Dee Willis (Mark) and Angela Frechette; his sister Sis Marshall; and his grandchildren, Olivia Walters, Jacqueline Willis, Shannon Miller, Samantha Householder, Tricia Dillon, Stephanie Dillon and Ashliegh Smith. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
