She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Elliott and Ruby Elliott; her husband Lewis E. Hewitt; her brothers, Carson and Eugene Elliott; and her granddaughter Kara.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank (Pam) of Dawson, GA, Richard of Chesapeake, Robert (Vicki) of Chesapeake and Donald (Jennifer) of Currituck, NC.; her grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Ricky, Jessica, Hunter Hewitt, Brittany Winn, Brian Bringazi and Zachary Burgar; and her great grandchild Heaven. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
