He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, James LaRose I and Lindy Lingbloom; his nephew Terry Lingbloom; and his aunt Gene Swanson. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Matz (Shirley) and Brian Matz; his grandsons, Dominic Matz and Jameson Matz; and his sisters, Carol Lingbloom and Paula LaRose. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
