He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Malmquist; his wife Anne; his pet Maggie; and his sister Karen Russell. He is survived by: his daughters, Kirsten McElroy (Tom) and Leslie Malmquist; his brother Newland Malmquist; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Carolynn, Lindsey and Jesse.
