He is survived by: his children, Brian Gehring, Brad Gehring (Valintina), Kim Gehring and Kris Nickerson; and his grandchildren, Brittanie McDonnell, Stephanie Gehring, Blake Gehring, Samantha Gehring, Brooke Gehring, Katie Laiseni, Justin Gehring, Tyler Nickerson, Baili Gehring, Paiton Boyd, Jordan Talley and Jacob Sanders. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
