He is survived by: his sister Penny Dexter; his former wife Cathie Carrell; and his children, Claren Jr. (Keana), Clayton (Gwendi), Charles "Chuck" (Janea), Cynthia Romero (Felix), Colleen MacDonald (Bryan), Cheri Becerra (Carlos), Curtis (Shelby) and Caryne Alberts (Brett). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
