She is survived by: her husband Rich; her sons, Joe Hoctor (Cindy) and Rob Hoctor (Paula) of Ellensburg; and her grandson Tyler Hoctor of Ellensburg. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

Memorial contributions in Shirlie's honor are suggested to the Religious Education Fund at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 401 S. Willow in Ellensburg.
