It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Spencer of Ellensburg, Washington, born in Presho, South Dakota, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Raymond and Gladys Gist (Leffler); her husband Robert Richard Spencer; and her brother Kent Gist. She is survived by: her children, Kirby Spencer (Debra Follansbee) of Sierra Vista, AZ and Lee Spencer (Kristy) of Ellensburg, WA; her grandchildren, Ryan Spencer (Samantha) of Ellensburg, WA and Katie Horton (Andrew) of Puyallup, WA; her brother Rodney Gist (Doris) of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister-in-law Edith Gist of Caldwell, ID. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
