He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hoctor and Mildred Hoctor (Dulick); his wife Shirlie; his daughter Joanie Marie Hoctor; and his sister Becky Breitenstein.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe Hoctor (Cindy Dillard) and Rob Hoctor (Paula) of Ellensburg; his grandson Tyler Hoctor; and his siblings, Judi Lyons of Ellensburg, Tim Hoctor (Kathleen) of Ellensburg, Bob Hoctor of Ellensburg, Angie Hill of Ellensburg and Kathy Hoctor of Pasco.
