She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Barber; her parents, Paul and Ella; and her siblings, George, Ellie, Arno and Christa.
She is survived by: her former spouse Shawnawaz Khan; her brother Alfred Haubold (Hanne); and her children, Shawn Barber (Linda), Ralph Barber (Cori), Debbie Kirby (Chris) and Ray Barber (Ellie). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private celebration of Maria's life will be held for family on March 10 at the McIntosh Ranch.
