He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Nies; his wife Sue Denney; his children, Jay Briggs (Roxie) of Ellensburg and Amy Maher (Bob) of Kirkland; his grandchildren, Jake, Madi, Julia and Andrew; and his brother Ken Briggs (Diane) of Ellensburg.
