He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Luiten and Martha Luiten; his former wife Irene Reinbold; and his siblings, Orval, Arnold, Ray, Harvey, Elroy, Orlen, Marlas Luiten, Florence Walker, Verna Beieler and Lillian Jablonski.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Reed Stuckle; his children, Mike Luiten, Dale Luiten (Sally), Wanda Talbot (Jim) and Jeff Luiten; and his stepchildren, Laura Thayer (Ken) and Gary Stuckle. He is also survived by one step grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.
