He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ken Nayes and Della Nayes (Buchholz); his wife Karen Nayes (Horsman); his sons, Paul Nayes of Spokane and Christopher Nayes (Kelly) of Lake Tapps; his grandchildren, Nicole, Alex, Casey and Corey; and his sister Karil Gray (Eddie) of Viola, Idaho.. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church building fund or the VFW Post 51, both in Spokane.
