He was predeceased by: his parents, Nuel Leon Branam and Evelyn Branam Mitchell; and his sister Mary Kathryn Hutson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Branam; his children, David Branam (Ann) of Olympia, Washington, Jeff Branam of Centralia, Washington and Kathy Branam of Centralia, Washington; his sister Glenda Fisher of Luray, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Kyson Fueston and Elysia Fueston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great, and great great-nieces and nephews.
