He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nash and Irene Nash (Elston); his husband Charles "Chuck" Parkman; his siblings-in-law, Doris, Richard Cole, Sylvia and Raymond Eberle; and his brother Glenn Hanson.
He is survived by: his sister Marlis; his sons, Timothy (Sue) of Hope, Todd (Terri) of Hope and Thomas Wahpeton (Sue Davis); and his grandchildren, Julie Teigland (Corey), Chas, Jacob, Eric (Ariel), Cory, Benjamin (Emma), Zachary (Katrina), Francis, Marla Sailor (Jamie) and Jordan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
