“I just heard of Maria's passing. :-( I have so many fond and warm memories of visits with her in our early married days when we attended the same ward. Long before I would meet her myself, I heard her praises sung by my sister, when Maria was called in at the last minute to accompany the "Elijah" for the Central Kitsap High School Choir concert. The accompanist (Suzanne Carlson?) fell ill right before the concert and Maria stepped in and saved the day. Linda was in awe. :-)There was just no one like Maria and I loved time spent with her so much! I regret not seeing her very often over the later years when our paths crossed less often. She was such a people person, talented, articulate, opinionated, compassionate. Her children were so blessed to have an "irregular mother." <3 Please accept our condolences on her passing.
