She was predeceased by: her son Ronald E. Scott; and her parents, Alva Ray and Merle Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by: her spouse James Scott; her children, Robin Swain, Yvonne Jones and Jon Scott; and her siblings, Dixie Adkins and Laroy Smith. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
