It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Hastings Whelan of Bellingham, Washington, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Mary and Edward Whelan; the father of her children Robert; and also Ronald Racine. She is survived by: her siblings, Andrew Whelan, Mary Johnston, Christina Viale, Michael Whelan, Gemma Martinelli, Marian Bingham, Elizabeth Walsh, Christopher Whelan, Veronica O'Brien, Edward Whelan, Angela Hotaling and Anastasia Michaud. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
