He was predeceased by: his father Bert Dixon; his son Donald Paul Dixon; his mother Ruth Steele; and his daughter-in-law Bobbi Dixon (Joshua). He is survived by: his wife Candace Gruenewald; his children, Jessica Cunningham (Brandon), Joshua Dixon and Joseph Dixon; his former wife Pam Dixon; his grandchildren, Tanner Alvarez, Kielee Dixon, Emma Dixon, Lily Dixon, Jacoby Dixon, Tristen Dixon, Lucas Layos and Gabriel Dixon; and his siblings, Carol Erwin (Dennis), Patti Burklund (Dan Mitzel), David Dixon (Grace), Shannon Van Scyoc (Lee), Dan Dixon (Julie) and Becky Maage (Tom). He is also survived by numerous step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Northwest Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Seattle Union Gospel Mission.
