He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Nelson and Alice Nelson (Hansen); his children, Mike Nelson, Jeremy Jackson, Kevin Sylvester, Ezra Nelson, Ira Nelson, Eli Nelson, Zelma Nelson, Naomi Nelson, Thea Nelson-Jerry, Sara Nelson and Angela Nelson; his brother William Nelson of Rochester; and his children, Noel "Tony" Nelson and Marla Nelson. He was also cherished by 34 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
