He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nathan C. Abel and Mabel A. Abel (Streubel); his wife Vicky of Custer, WA; his children, Gary L. Abel Jr. of Arlington, WA, Victor A. C. Whalen, Christine A. Abel of Longview, WA and Katherine L. Abel of Bellingham, WA; his siblings, Ray A. Rogers of Wrangell, Dan Abel of Lewiston, ID, Loretta J. Ogden of Blaine, WA, Susan M. Kanitz of Bellingham, WA, Dianne Dana of Barstow, CA and Luwana Abel; and his stepfathers, Allen M. Rogers and Melvin Mosher (Bud). He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
At this time, there will be no services held due to current pandemic.
