He is survived by: his spouse Marion Wells; his close friend Marion Howes of Waterbury; his children, Donna Gilman (Kevin) of Berlin, Craig Howes of Hickory, NC and Bryan Howes (Penny) of Waterbury Center; and his grandchildren, Justin Gilman (Helen) of Everett, MA, Katelyn Wells (Tyler) of Berlin, Caroline Clark (Dalton) of Clayton, NC and Megan Howes of Cullowee, NC.
