She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Boardman (May) and Dennis Boardman. She is survived by: her children, Duane (Michelle), James (Simonne), Yvette Bohn (Fred) of Brookfield, Stephanie of Barre, Joan LaRow (Richard) of East Calais and Cheryl Gustafson (Wayne) of Suffield, Connecticut..

At 83 years of age, she returned to the classroom once again, homeschooling her two youngest grandchildren during the pandemic.
